I liked Nosferatu (2024) but not sure if the dark romance element made the movie better or worse. The atmosphere was so good that I kinda wished it was a more straightforward dracula/nosferatu adaptation, but ik that the ending was also in the og silent movie so they were kinda just expanding that element of the story.

I’m planning to watch Hellraiser: Inferno (2000) soon because I heard there’s a part where two guys are talking about something along the lines of if they’d date a trans woman & you think it’s gonna go transphobic, but it actually just remains wholesome in the interaction. Obviously it’s one of those things of if she has had the surgeries or not according to them, but for an early 2000s movie, pretty cool.
