Vox Media sold Polygon

This is insane for a few reasons:
1. Polygon is a top 3 video game website with a huge Youtube channel. What more would someone want?
2. What does this mean for Vox Media? Again, I thought they were one of the few companies weathering whatever is going on with online media. The Verge switched to a subscription paywall last year so maybe things aren't so rosy. Curious if other sites get sold off.
3. Polygon is fucked. The new owner is a major AI Slop purveyor. It sounds like half the staff got laid off already.
