Does live theater count as media?

I skipped the sports all today and went to see The Play That Goes Wrong. I've seen it twice before. It is slapstick, silly, absurd, all in the exact way I like.

I would say this production was a step below the two I've seen previously, but it was still a lot of fun!

Does the play go wrong the same way every time? Or is there some improvised/random element?

It's the same every time, fully scripted. I still find it funny each time!
