I bought a tabletop bandsaw. Now I need to figure out a cool project to use it for.

I might try making a guitar

I foolishly learned how to buy things from yahoo japan auctions through an intermediary service. Now I spend my free time scrolling through pink digital cameras that I don’t need.

oh yes. very much so.
a lot of people who had gotten into film can no longer afford or just don't want to pay the insane prices right now and realized they can get the same lo-fi aesthetics using early digi-cams

Gen Z is obsessed with 2000s/2010s culture. Early internet, indie sleeze, all of that.

Also I wasn't gonna buy an old digital point-and-shoot because I still have the ones I used back in the 2000s but it didn't work any more so now I have an excuse to browse yahoo japan auctions at 2am every night 😭

For some reason I have recently decided to get into yo-yos? In a matter of days I have acquired a duncan imperial, butterfly, and a butterfly XT - which has a bearing axle instead of a fixed one so it spins like mad.
