Re: Introduce yourself?
Hallo! I'm Will, a professional token cis black guy here in LA. This forum is giving me flashbacks to my days as a director at an anime convention in Seattle, which was also ironically the last message board I was an active participant in. Due to rampant ADD, my interests are all over the place, but the main ones are video games, music, and skiing.
Happiness is a direction, not a place

Hi, I'm Jen. I'm into women. I also like pop culture. I talk a lot about entertainment industry history (largely local to Hollywood/LA but bits of other industry centers too). I aspire to embody Fran Drescher in her role as Fran in The Nanny.

i'm sylvia, a trans ace-lesbian (she/her)
i work in game development as a programmer, getting into programming originally in 2014 as a hobby, but going professional in 2021, it is my career path at this point in time
various things about me:

various things about me:
- i'm fond of aesthetics that some may consider outdated, but i am particularly fascinated by older technology (particularly around the 90s to 00s), old ipods are a particular interest of mine and i have a modded ipod classic
- on the note of technology; i am a power user and a linux user (i use nixos), i enjoy messing around with software, and building my own servers to run things self hosted
- i am very opinionated about the mainstream internet (i dont like it!) and i prefer sticking to smaller / independent online spaces. i am very opposed to pretty much any sort of mainstream social media and do not engage with those platforms
- music is another big thing for me; i am an aspiring (amateur) guitarist and music producer, as well as someone into hi-fi audio and owning my own music collection
- i like reading (90% of what i read is fanfiction)
- i am introverted, but not socially awkward; i enjoy talking to people greatly, i just don't have an interest in more extroverted spaces

Things are poppin' here!
I'm Missi, they/them, non-binary bitch -
Currently looking for work, keeping myself sane doing streaming, podcasting, and theater. I'm about to do a play in March and start rehearsals in a couple weeks, so will be turning into a massive pile of nerves soon, lol.
I love comedy, listen to a lot of comedy podcasts and watch a lot of comedy panel shows. Huge news that Jason Mantzoukas is going to appear in series 19 of Taskmaster, the collision of my two worlds.
Alice and I have done a few podcast projects together, which you can listen to here:
We did a show about Garbage called I Thought You Were Special, one where we watched media that one of us has been avoiding called Not A Hate Watch, and delved into actresses' filmographies on She's An Actress, Whoa! And I do a show with my friend Emily, where I go through the original Star Trek series for my first time. So yah, listen if you care to, they are fun!

Re: Introduce yourself?
helloooo. i have selected a username by random number generator and you can call me Lee. i am a 26 year old guy (he/him variety) and i live in los angeles. maybe closer to the SFV I guess, geography is like calculus to me.
i run a website called cigarette.pics that only shows you pictures of cigarettes from a user submitted database. i hate using apps. i like movies but havent seen that many for some reason, I should read more than i do, and i ghostwrite romance novels sometimes. if you have ever read a particularly decent novella about being in love with your dad's best friend who is a mafia boss, it might have been me. no i am not proud.
sometimes i dabble around with making music. it isnt awesome music but it sure does pass the time. i am married which is great. i like video games but my PC is a hash brown with a blinking light so i cant play that many. being vegan is NOT a personality trait but thats something about me too. hiiiii

I'm Cynthia. Cyn for short, not a Cindy kind of person.
I like on the Westside. Its ok. I DO NOT recommend Tito's Tacos. If you like it, that's your business.
Uh, I am a WFH IT person. I enjoy reading(i count audiobooks). I occasionally paint and do fiber art. Aside from the general state of the union, ive been a bit down with the passing of David Lynch. Only positive, is it got me to work more on making time to work on creative projects.
I'm never sure what to say. I always feel like I say too much.

BUT, EVERYONE sounds pretty cool. I'd love to connect with you all.
