I'm not usually one to keep up on the new stuff coming out but I just caught some gameplay from Awoken and that looks rad. I'm excited it's going to be on gamepass day one.

I've been playing Ender Lillies (the first one, don't remember the subtitle) since the second one came out and it reminded me I bought the first one but never played it. It's pretty good, though I already unlocked the first ending and I'm getting a little sick of it. I got to another new section last night and had to take a break.

Going to play Avowed and Lost Records as soon as I'm done with it. I don't know why I'm on a 2d Metroidvania kick but I feel like I need to keep going.

I've spent a little time with Avowed now and gee wiz do I love it.

I've played two full games of Civilization VII now and I think I don't like it! I appreciate what they're doing with the three separate eras each acting as a reset, but I find that the third modern age is often just me pressing Next Turn without actually doing anything because I'm just filling out a tech tree.

Yeah, that's what it's sounded like from the various reviews. It does sound like the age system makes the game feel less free form than it did in classic Civ. (Which is a bummer, because I loved being able to choose a specific victory type and beeline to it from the very beginning.)

I think I’d be more forgiving if it didn’t still have every single other AI opponent declare war on me at the same time in the endgame think I’m just gonna play civ 4 again

yeah the after market for guitar hero / rock band is pretty strong.
especially since there are a ton of clones games including the one in fortnite.
the original equipment is worth a decent amount of money in good shape.

I found two RB 3 guitars in my basement I didn't know I had, and it was like finding silver bars.
